Jim Clark Heads Out...to Syracuse.

Thanks to my buddy Sarah over at Neutral Zone Trap for pointing this out. Blue Jackets assistant general manager Jim Clark is on his way out of Columbus and onto Syracuse.

Clark, the man in charge of the Crunch roster, said he will come to Syracuse in September and live here through the season. Previously, he was based in Columbus and stopped by here every now and then.

The changing of the guard has begun. When Clark was asked about Howson as General Manager he had this to say:

"I'm sure he'll do a good job in Columbus. I would have done a good job, too, if given the chance,'' Clark said. "I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm disappointed I didn't get a chance to work with Scott awhile. If I had another year in the organization, maybe there was another (job) I would consider.''
UPDATE: According to the Dispatch will be let go after this season when his contract expires on July 1. Chris MacFarland manager of hockey operations.
"Chris is at a point in his career where if we wanted to retain him, we had to give him more responsibility," Howson said.
This is all part of the Blue Jackets reconstruction of the front office. So far four members of the front office have left Dave McNamara, Sergei Karin, Denis Leblanc and Bruce Hickey. The Dispatch reports that Scott Howson said that some were asked to leave and some left.
